-- July 20-- Billy Rush a long time Team Jorge Gurgel member and nutritionist for Jorge Gurgel and Rich Franklin has been in Utah since June training Jeremy Horn for the upcoming UFC 54 Title match with current Champion Chuck Liddell this Aug. Look for Jeremy to be in awesome shape/conditioning for this fight.

This past weekend Team Jorge Gurgel members fought in 3 separate states going 4-3 overall.

JG Newcomer Patrick Barrentine smashed his way to victory 58 seconds in the first rd in a SuperHeavy weight challenge against a very large ripped man announced as Wood who had a 6-0 MMA record. Wood a local to Indiana and crowd favorite was finished via rear naked choke much to the dismay of those in attendance. Patrick has been invited back for a possible belt challenge this fall. Next weekend he will be fighting in the Kentucky Fight Challenge.
