September 20- The Renato Seminar was a great success. Renato who was also one of Jorge's BJJ Mentors back in Brazil showed our students good solid techniques to improve upon.

Fight Nite in the Flats did not go as well for Team Jorge Gurgel walking away with  1 win and 3 losses. Greg Franklin tapped to a Guillotine,  and Braden tapped to a shirt suffocation. The long awaited Josh Souder, Jason Dent match-up ended in the second round when Dent's knee opened Josh's forehead requiring 19 stitches. Prior to that knee the fighters appeared to be evenly matched trading blows and defending attacks.

 September 13- Congratulations to Jamie Toney on his 1st rd. TKO in Atlanta last weekend. Up next Josh Souder, Braden Workman, and Greg Franklin travel to Cleveland for Fight night in the Flats, The following weekend Dustin Hazelett travels to Tunica for a fight in the FFC.

On hold again: Mike Patt's FFC fight has been cancelled due to his competitor being affected by the hurricane damage.

 September 3-- First off let me start by saying that our thoughts and prayers are with the people affected by the Hurricane Disaster Katrina. Please donate what you can to help aid in this massive rebuilding of our Southern neighbors.

--From what I can tell Tunica MS was not as severely affected by the hurricane, although it is hosting numerous persons displaced from the gulf regions. The FFC at the Grand casino is still on so help support the local economy by continuing your plans to go to the show.
