Another successful year has been completed at JG MMA Academy/Team Jorge Gurgel and its affiliated schools around the country.

We finished the 2007 season with our Team Ranked 2nd in the nation.  Our athletes competed across the country traveling to California and other states several times to compete. We successfully swept NAGA Ohio for the entire season finishing first in Gi/NoGi and kids. This is another sign of our success as our schools have successfully launched kids programs that have become competitive on a national level.

Under the tutelage of Kenny Christo we have a successful High school Boxing Program running at our gym.

Jorge, Rich and Dustin continue to fight in the UFC. Dorian Price appeared on this seasons Ultimate Fighter on Spike. We have several upcoming athletes that are primed to make it onto the big stage soon, but I'm not naming names.

Many of our affiliated schools have enjoyed tremendous growth this year and have expanded to open satellite schools in the surrounding communities
