Team Jorge Gurgel fighters Tommy “The Tooth” Hayden and Prince Mclean will be fighting this Saturday October 11th 2008 at the Ice 36 show. The fights will take place at the Metropolis night club off of I-275 near Cincinnati Mills. Doors open at 7:00 pm with the fights starting at 8:00 pm. Prince Mclean will be fighting Jason Kenneman at 185lbs. This will be the first fight for Prince since his reconstructive shoulder surgery. Prince made it to the TUF 7 season final 32 contestants but was unable to win his way into the UFC house. Prince has been fighting with a shoulder injury for the past couple of years and says he is finally healthy and is ready to show what he is capable of in MMA. Prince is a gifted athlete and has a huge wing span which makes it hard for anyone who wants to keep the fight standing with Price. Prince has the longest wing span at JG with an impressive 81 inches of reach. Prince hopes to use his reach and athleticism to work his way back to the UFC. Prince is going for his 7th knockout of his career in this fight.
Tommy “The Tooth” Hayden will be fighting Ryan McIntosh at 155lbs. Tommy is 3-0 and has won all of his professional fights in an exciting manner. Tommy is an exceptional wrestler and is pound for pound one of the strongest fighters at Team JG. Tommy has good stand up and great cardio to along with his wrestling background. Tommy is capable of winning fights standing and on the ground. Tommy said he plans to make this fight exciting for all the fans in attendance and put on a good show.
