Jorge Gurgel will look to get back on the winning track at UFC 91 in November as MMAWeekly.com has confirmed that he will face Aaron Riley in a lightweight showdown as a part of the undercard portion of the event. Sources inside Gurgel’s camp confirmed the fight on Tuesday.

Since his stint on the “Ultimate Fighter” season 2, Gurgel has had an up and down career with the UFC, currently sporting a 3-3 record in the Octagon.

His last fight, against Cole Miller, was as exciting as they come, but unfortunately for Gurgel, after a hard fought battle, he was submitted late in the third round by the American Top Team prodigy.

With an ever-growing roster, Gurgel will surely have to keep his eyes on the prize as Riley is a tough and experienced fighter.

Riley has competed in the Octagon before, but hasn’t had much luck as he went 0-2 in the match-ups he had with Robbie Lawler and Spencer Fisher. Now, after winning his last two fights in a row, he gets another shot at the UFC and a chance to face a game opponent in Gurgel.

The Nov. 15 UFC 91 card is filling up quickly. It is expected to be one of the biggest shows in UFC history as heavyweight champion Randy Couture returns to face Brock Lesnar in the main event.
