Mike Patt has been fighting  MMA since 2001 and was one of Jorge Gurgel's first students and later a Black Belt. He has since accumulated at  12-3 record. Mike Patt took on Tim Boetsch at UFC 88 in Atlanta with only 3 weeks notice and suffered a 1st Rnd TKO. Never really having a chance to get warmed up in the ring Mike is looking for to the opportunity to fight again. This time he has had 3 months to prepare for a specific opponent, the dangerous Brandon Vera.  According to personal trainer Eric Ramsey "Mike is going into UFC 96 as a more explosive fighter with improved agility". Look for a war when the bell rings.
