Jorge Gurgel will be making his Strikeforce debut this Friday night, 19JUN2009 on Showtime.  Jorge will be facing Conor Heun, a student under Eddie Bravo on the main card of the show.  Jorge had a great fight camp and is feeling the best he has in years.  He is going into this fight in better shape, physically and mentally than he ever has.  Jorge spent some time in Boston with Mark DellaGrotte and his camp at Sityodtong preparing for this fight.  Jorge came back home to Cincinnati totally focused and prepared for his fight and is excited for Friday night.  The fight will be aired on Showtime Friday night starting at 11:00 pm eastern time so call a friend who has Showtime and watch the new and improved Jorge Gurgel in his first fight on his his way to the Strikeforce world championship belt.
